Foraging Course Experience (in English)
Discover the edible treasures of the forest with our guided foraging experience.
Delivered by Micaela, english speaking native.
Our foraging course is designed to make the world of wild edible plants accessible to everyone—from curious beginners to nature-loving explorers.
Your experience begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to the essentials of plant identification, ethics and harvesting rules. We then set off on a guided walk through the forest where we will enjoy exploring our surroundings and you'll learn to recognize a variety of edible species along with their culinary, medicinal, and herbal uses. Throughout the walk, we teach you how to confidently and safely identify new plants, aiming to cover 10 common species, major plant families, toxic look-alikes, and risks of confusion.
After harvesting, we prepare a delicious meal together using the day's foraged ingredients, cooked over an open fire. Safety is always prioritized—no plant is ever consumed without clear identification.
This course is perfect for anyone curious about the natural world, families, individuals, looking for a unique outdoor activity, spending time outdoors, or wanting to develop sustainable skills. Enjoy a friendly atmosphere while raising your awareness about nature and its protection.
